The First Monday at the Cosy Club

Pip at the Cosy Club

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Pip for all his amazing work over the last few years and we're all saddened to lose his leadership; though we won't be losing him completely as Pip will be taking the first position on the Producers' Forum's newly set up Advisory Board. Alison will take over from Pip from 1st September 2018.

The Forum has enjoyed having its monthly networking meetings in the city centre for the past two years and it was saddened by the news of the closing of Edmunds Brewhouse. But our new venue, The Cosy Club, proved an excellent choice. Still in the city centre, in walking distance of both New Street and Snowhill Stations, and with a larger, more spacious room in which to gather. In fact, with the size of the crowd that Monday evening, we would never have all fitted into the room at Edmunds.

It was an evening of looking back and looking forward.  Not just old timers were there but so many people who were coming for the first time to a First Monday event. One such thanked us at the end of the evening for such a brilliant time and joined the Forum the very next day. We hope to see another big turnout on Monday, 1 October.
