First Monday April 2016

Our April First Monday networking event brought together a mixture of the familiar faces with quite a few new first-timers coming along, and a few surprises thrown in.

People gathered from as far as field as Malvern, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Birmingham and beyond.
The great thing about choosing to take the time out of busy schedules and meet up is that the effort is always rewarded.
Our work thrives on the people we have in our networks. Networks that need to be expanded and renewed - connections that enable collaboration, shared intelligence and support. This is the primary reason that First Monday developed.
Monday 4th April proved another invaluable evening for many, as those new and renewed connections were made and reinforces, stories and ideas shared and deliberated over.

If you feel a tad uncomfortable or unconfident about throwing yourself into networking then the combined PF / Shooting People First Monday network event is a great place to dip the toe as they say. It is always friendly, not too crowded and as already said always rewards in some aspect. People from all aspects of the wider filmmaking community across the Midlands and beyond are very welcome.
