This Summer Craven Arts is running 10 days of free training in community arts. You'll learn all the following, meet other artists from round Shropshire, and have a lot of fun.
- how to come up with grant-winning concepts
- planning for a successful career in the arts
- create expert publicity for your events and workshops
- hands-on experience to build your CV and skills
- build confidence and clear blocks for success in any art practice
- better still you may even get paid for doing it!
For 5 days in August professional trainers will give you the knowledge you need to work in, or set up community arts projects. You’ll then have a further 5 days working with a group of artists on a large and successful community arts project in Shropshire that includes outdoor events, installations and building a permanent sculpture park. Opportunities for all practitioners including visual artists, musicians, sculptors, performers, photographers and filmmakers. The training takes place over 5 days in mid August and 5 days at the beginning of September. There are three bursaries available, paid at a rate of £70 per day.
