About me

Michael Ford is an independent producer and MD of Infinite Wisdom Productions.

Infinite Wisdom is a bright young indie focused on the production and development of exciting film and television content. Its forthcoming feature film and broadcast slate includes action/thriller DOGS OF LAW the adaptation of THE LAST VIKING by Ron Dawson (Scary Bones, The Worm that Flies in the Night) and its first gameshow format in development with TIGER ASPECT.

In 2008 it partnered with Director John Maidens of ANGELFISH PRODUCTIONS and Producer Rachel Carter for the UK Film Council and Screen WM short film Caterpillar, scooping the Royal Television Society award for Best Fictional in October 2009.

The company is now hard at work on the financing of its first multi-million pound feature film due for production in 2010 following a successful multi-part development investment into the project.

Past projects

A member of The Producers’ Forum since 2006, Michael Ford is the managing director of Infinite Wisdom Productions, a producer of digital media, film and training content.

OUR TRAINING PROMISE A confident producer, media trainer and consultant for a range of commercial and learning providers, Michael was instrumental in designing and delivering the Creative Media Diploma for 14-19s in the West Midlands. The programme, developed for Light House Media Centre, became a test case for the first rollout of delivery and was testament to Michael’s experience of delivering to diverse groups of pupils, teachers, community groups and broadcast professionals.

In 2008 Michael was recruited to deliver technical skills training to the makers of Irish language soap Ros Na Run and in ‘09 was again invited back to Galway to provide training for new projects by independent production company EO Teilifis, alongside a two-week programme of CPD for Irish broadcaster TG4.

Other training projects include several outings with Creative Partnerships and training for Birmingham City University.
